KARENNASONG Native Flute

Once again the people at the Oakwoods nature Center has allowed the group to use the beautiful bird viewing room at the Center, to relax around the fireplace and play some Native Flutes & Drums.

The atmosphere is fantastic, and the acoustics are superb! So join us for a lovely gathering of the Huron River Flute Circle, this Sunday, 11/13/11, 2pm-4pm at the Oakwoods Nature Center. You can get the proper directions to the Park and Center from the address on the Flyer. Hope to see you all there.

October 23rd., 2011 will be our next Huron River Flute Circle, at Oakwoods Metro Park, Nature Center, from 2pm-4pm.

Come and join us at this beautiful Nature Center overlooking the Huron river, from the cliffs above. Enjoy the lovely trails and wonderful river vistas after enjoying the sounds of Native Flutes and drums.

The Huron River Flute Circle had a great time at Oakwoods Nature Center at this Hiking Michigan event. We had a great turn out of many friendly people. Over 150 friendly people passed through the Nature Center and Campfire area for the day.

There where Voyager Canoes, Nature Hikes and plenty and Flute & Drums the entire day. We even had Flute playing taking place on the river while riding in the Voyager Canoes.

The Huron River Flute Circle will be back at the Oakwoods Metro Park/Nature Center starting on October, each month. So look for a detailed schedule real soon. Also look for various other combined activities taking place with our Flute & Drum gatherings. Like Owl prowls, and Fall leave change Hikes. We are planning many unique experiences for all of you at our home in the Oakwoods Nature Center.

Huron River Flute Circle

This Sunday, 3/27/11, from 1pm-3pm, at the Oakwoods Metro Park Nature Center, we will be holding our second Flute Circle gathering.

Come on out and enjoy the native flute and drums inside the comfortable Nature Center at the park. The Center sit overlooking the beautiful Huron river below. The nature trails are a gem as well.

New Beadwork

Just finishing up some new Beadwork. This one uses the Turtle Clan symbol. My Clan.

Glad to have you join us here on our Blog. We will be using this place to post our Events and activities, as well as keeping you all up to date on the various Native Flute & Drum activities taking place throughout S. E. Michigan.
